Multiannual Application Plan
On February 25, the director general of the Guandu Committee, Decio Tubbs, met with representatives from INEA and AGEVAP to define and complete the guidelines for the Committee’s Multi-Year Application Plan (PAP). The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Guandu Committee, at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), among other actions, adjusted the amounts committed for use in the period between 2014 and 2016.
For the correct actions to be carried out, the approval of the PAP resolution is needed at the Committee’s plenary meeting, scheduled for April. Decio highlighted the importance of the plan, which acts as a guideline for the application of resources collected in the basin: It is necessary to rationalize and efficiently apply the available resources, in accordance with the goals of the Basin Plan, it is basically planning. In the Basin Plan you design the actions and in the PAP you enable the application of these resources.
