The Rural Sanitation project consists of surveying geospatial data and preparing the diagnosis, hierarchy and basic and executive projects of rural and peri-urban agglomerations in municipalities belonging to Hydrographic Region II.
– Survey of geospatial data: research and analysis of data sets and information on certain specific phenomena in rural agglomerations of Hydrographic Region II that will support the diagnosis.
b) Diagnosis: local demand surveys to identify sanitary sewage needs, characterize the problem and diagnose the current situation of the existing system. The studies will prioritize the universalization of care. From there, the most suitable alternatives will be studied through technical, economic and environmental comparison, considering positive and negative aspects.
c) Hierarchization: classification, in order of priority, of the municipalities and rural and peri-urban agglomerations within each municipality that are most critical in relation to rural sanitation. The hierarchy will be elaborated based on epidemiological, socioeconomic and environmental criteria.
d) Basic/executive project: set of necessary and sufficient elements, with an adequate level of precision, to characterize the work or service, complex of works or services that ensure the technical feasibility and adequate treatment of the environmental impact of the enterprise, and that allow the evaluation of the cost of the work and the definition of the methods and the execution period with elements necessary and sufficient for its complete execution, in accordance with the relevant norms of the Brazilian Association of Technical Norms (ABNT).
